Join us for a Halloween themed block party of community magic in Kensington, Philadelphia. The event will be held on East Monmouth St (between Kensington Ave and Ruth St) on Saturday, October 27 from 1-4pm. 

A live band, DJ, food, storytelling activities, tarot readings, mask making, Halloween costumes, and over 15+ organizations will be offering information about programs and services for the Kensington community. Storytelling workshops at the event are supported by a grant from PennCares.

We will celebrate with the community of Kensington, share vital resources, and promote health, empowerment, and safety for communities affected by drug use and poverty.

Acompáñenos para una fiesta de Halloween que celebra el magia de la comunidad en Kensington, Filadelfia. El evento se celebrará en East Monmouth St (entre Kensington Ave y Ruth St) el sábado, 27 de octubre de 1-4pm.

Una banda en vivo, DJ, comida, actividades de narración de cuentos, lecturas de tarot, máscaras, disfraces de Halloween, y más de 15 organizaciones estarán ofreciendo información sobre programas y servicios para la comunidad de Kensington. Los talleres de cuentacuentos en el evento son apoyados por una subvención de PennCares.

Celebraremos con la comunidad de Kensington, compartimos recursos vitales y promoveremos la salud, el empoderamiento y la seguridad de las comunidades afectadas por el consumo de drogas y la pobreza.

OUR MISSION

Creative Resilience Collective is a health justice organization based in Philadelphia. We partner with underserved communities and advocates looking to combat stigma and improve access to self-determined mental health care.

We believe our collective agency can create positive change in care systems, leading to more equitable futures. We do this through educational workshops, study groups, critical writing, public art, youth programs, and the building of local tools and resources to shape the evolution of dignified care.
